Jro on Steroids

Steroid Bottle Steroid Olympics Contrary to the title of this page, it may surprise you to look at me, but Jro is not on steroids. And never will be on steroids. For one, it is the pussys way out. The easy way out. Any idiot can fill their bodies with drugs to make them a success at particular endeavours. It takes no skill and it takes no achievment. Secondly there are the medical consequences of filling your bodies with that piss. I haven't researched extensively the consequences of steroids, but baldness, acne, liver cancer and heart attacks are well known to be possible side effects. Not to mention balls the size of peanuts.

Steroid Abuse More importantly than either of the above reasons, I would never take them because it would taint any future achievements within your life. When I workout I take sports supplements such as protein shakes, and other supplements including fish oil and vitamins. I can justify this, because they're what I refer to as 'convenience supplements'. You could get all of the ingredients from the supplements that I take, in a normal diet, but time restrictions do not allow you to do so. If I was able to take an oven with me to the gym and have a chef cook some chicken for when I finish exercising, then I would. Unfortunately the gym doesn't allow that, so I use protein supplements instead. What I would never use, is supplements that will enhance your performance to a level higher than could be achieved on a natural diet. An extreme example of this would be steroid use.

Should you use supplements of this kind, it taints any achievement that you have. Your body is made of what is inserted into it. Ususally inserted orally, but other methods are used. If, even once, you take into your body a significant amount of a supplement that provides you with benefits that exceed what you can achieve on a natural diet, then from that point forth, you can no longer attribute your achievements in your life to hard work or dedication. Yes they may go side by side with steroid abuse for example. Hell bodybuilders probably work as hard as nearly any other athletes. But if a kid comes up to Steroid Fans them one day, and says to the bodybuilder "when I grow up, I want to be just like you", the bodybuilders reply can be little beyond, "Well little Jonny, role up your sleeve and inject yourself 3 times a day, and sure enough, you can grow up to be just like me."

Not that I ever expect kids to want to be like me, but if they did, I'd want to be able to say that all that I achieved was attributed to hard work. To dedication. I never want to have the demon hanging over my head, knowing that what I have achieved in my life was only a result of medical science. Knowing such a thing would kill me. It is for that reason that I would never injest steroids, or any other performance enhancing supplement. From that point on, what have you achieved? From that point on, your achievements are attributed to science. Something I would never want my life to become.
